Our plates on sale

Why buy from us

A personal sale. You deal with one person from the first message to the transfer.

  • Bought directly

I bought these registrations from DVLA. I am a private seller. This site is not a government service.

  • Certificate held

Each number is on a V750 or a V778. It is not on a vehicle today.

  • A clear transfer

We agree a price, you pay, then I transfer the entitlement or add you as the nominee.

  • Personal service

You deal with one person in Scotland, UK. No account and no checkout.

How it works

Three steps. The full sequence, including fees, is on the guide page.

  1. Tell me which plate

Send an offer with the plate and the figure you have in mind.

  2. Agree a price and pay

We confirm the price by email. You pay by bank transfer once you are content.

  3. Transfer, then assign

I transfer the certificate. You assign it to your vehicle and order physical plates.

Questions

Can I keep it without a car?

Yes. A certificate lets you hold the registration without a vehicle. You can assign it later, before the certificate expires. The expiry date is on each plate page.

Does the certificate expire?

Yes. Each plate page shows the expiry date. The holder needs to assign the number, or renew the certificate, before that date. Renewal is arranged with DVLA by the certificate holder.

How do I pay safely?

We agree the price in writing first. You then pay by bank transfer. There is no card checkout on this website. I will not ask you to pay a stranger. The DVLA transfer fee of £80 is not included. You pay it when the number is assigned to a vehicle.

Can I make an offer?

Yes. Open the plate and choose Make an offer. If your figure is below the guide, you can still send it. I will say yes or suggest another price.
